The Backstory (Short + Sweet)

After years in science and tech, my wife and I opened a craft brewpub in Central Texas and ran it for nearly five years. We loved it—and we learned a lot. When we sold the business and moved to Saint Louis (hello, actual seasons!), I knew I wanted to keep helping small businesses succeed. That’s when I found bookkeeping.

Why Bookkeeping?

• I’ve been the client—I know what good service looks like (and what’s missing when it’s bad)

• I’m all about relationships, not just reports

• I’m detail-obsessed, process-driven, and kind of a nerd for systems that work
